LEM FOX SUPPORT EVENT TO PROMOTE INDONESIAN HERITAGE

On December 10, 2012 , Palace Hotel in Cianjur City – West Java start to perform some events to promote Local Culture and Heritage especially in promoting local Cianjur’s Batik Cloths.

One from several events such as Batik Workshop, Stake Holder’s Batik Business Discussion, Bazaar, Traditional Music and Dance whih plan to perform start from December 10, 2012 onwards, is making a rooster statue wearing some batik’s cloth of Cianjur. As we know well, original endemic rooster from Cianjur City called as ‘Ayam Pelung’ has some unique characteristic which did not find in any else rooster in the world likes its ‘ crowing’ which has very length duration (almost 2 minutes) and has different rhythm one to each others.

The height of the rooster statue is 6 meters. The construction of the statue are using bamboo for its frame and others environmental friendly materials for finishing.

“Lem FOX is very proud as the only adhesive to be used in the process of making ‘Ayam Pelung Batik’ Statue. We are very appreciate the event initiated by Palace Hotel and hope it could promote local heritage of Cianjur Batik’s Cloths and Ayam Pelung Cianjur as well”, said Mr. Iyan Satriyana, Marketing Communication Manager of PT. Aica Indria.

Due to its size, this ‘Ayam Pelung Batik’ statue will be booked in Museum Record of Indonesia (MURI).

The certification ceremony of recording Ayam Pelung Batik in Museum Record of Indonesia will be hold on December 28, 2012 at Palace Hotel – Cianjur, West Java by
