Lem FOX Sponsoring Bridge Design Competition on Engineering Festival of University Kristen Krida Wacana 2012
On 15 to 17 October 2012, BEM Technical and Electrical Engineering Faculty, University of Kristen Krida Wacana (Ukrida) Jakarta hold an Engineering Festival Days. In this occasion they conducted some events such as Technical Seminar, Talk Show, Bridge Stick Design Competition etc.
Lem FOX was invited on the event of Bridge Stick Design Competition by providing adhesives to be applied on bridge construction. The bridge itself has to be constructed by using ice cream stick and sticks each other using lem FOX glue. According to the event committee, design of the bridge has to fulfill some requirement as follows:
- economical
- strong structure
- esthetically – well
One of the participant’s design shown bellows made from 320 pcs of ice cream sticks and joined each other by lem FOX glue was claimed could bear 130 kgs loads.
